Second update :D
Today I present to you version a_0.03!
As the game starts, you can now see the awakening of the character, as he falls from his pod :
It took me a long time to finish, considering its 32 frames, and I'm happy with the result. The start of the game is now less abrupt, and more coherent.
Then I worked on a new screen, which is a first person scene. It'll contain a small and easy problem to solve, which isn't ready yet.
I also made new cursor animations to give more information to the player on the environment. The only cursor I used before, wasn't giving enough feedback on what could be done. The animations indicate the type of action available :
- do :
- go :
- pick :
- use :
If you want to use these animations, you can find them here.
I continued to work on the left room, and apply a more detailed light. There, you can now take the Pad, and one of it's modules.
Finally I tried to improve the UI, by increasing its brightness, it's now easier to use.
Don't hesitate if you have any feedback, and have fun!
